Kinesis KR210 Frameset 2011: We have been working with Kinesis International to develop the KR-210L frameset, which we believe makes the perfect basis of a proper race bike for aspiring juniors or serious female racers. Taking a full size road race frame and simply scaling it down is the mistake that many frame builders make. A smaller, lighter rider does not require the same tubing as the average male pro. The KR-210L uses lighter and smaller dia. chain and seat stays and SPF thin wall front triangle, this keeps things light and responsive and smoothes out the ride for lower weight riders. A shorter top tube is important for comfortable reach from seat to bars, as is a smaller frame height for more standover clearance and short head tube dimensions help to minimise standover and bar height. Short, small frames with full size wheels can cause toe overlap problems, so the KR-210L has slacker head angles to help avoid this and also lengthen the wheelbase and tame the handling. A new, custom painted, aero blade, 'Energy'carbon fork completes the package. White/Deep Blue Metallic. White/Deep coral Red metallic.

Kinesis KR510 Frameset 2011: This superb frameset has been upgraded for 2010 with our full carbon RF30 fork, saving 100g and refining the ride quality. The price remains the same! Aero profile tubes are big in road frame design at the moment, and the KR-510 uses the latest 'SPF' [Superplastic Formed] tubing technology for its top tube, down tube and wheel hugging, flared seat tube. SPF uses far higher temps. to produce complicated shapes in thinner wall tubing than was possible with 'Hydroforming', this results in lighter tubing that can be formed to make the frame perform exactly as we require. Kinesis developed 'Ultrasmooth Weld Technology' joins the tubes and 'Tuned carbon wishbone' seat stays keep things responsive and help control road buzz at the back. This is an ideal basis for a super fast crit or club racer that won't break the bank. White/RC Red. White/Steel Grey metallic.

Kinesis KM210L Frame 2011: This is a true, purpose designed, female fit XC mountain bike frame. As with our female fit KR-210L, it has been designed from the ground up to work for female riders and is not simply a 'scaled down' standard MTB frame. A smaller, lighter rider does not require the same tubing as the average male racer. The KM-210L uses lighter and smaller dia. chain and seat stays, hourglass shaped for comfort and clearance and a thin wall, large dia. down tube for torsional stiffness. The frame is light and responsive and smoothes out the ride for lower weight riders. A shorter top tube is important for comfortable reach from seat to bars, as is a smaller frame height for more standover clearance, short head tube dimensions minimise standover and stack height. The Oversize, 7005 series, double butted alloy tubes are beautifully tig welded and the frame is suitable for an 80 to 100mm travel suspension fork. Metallic White/Citrus Green fade with fresh graphics.

Kinesis Racelight TK2 Frame 2011: A unique and superbly detailed frame, designed to excel in the winter and perform as an all year round race frame. Updated for 2010 with crisp new graphics and 2 striking new dual colour paint finishes. We have also introduced a new 48cm size to suit Female and Junior riders. The lightweight Racelight Tk2 winter training frame has all the proven details of the Racelight T2 but uses advanced, smooth welded, Kinesium tubing to make it one of the lightest and most responsive winter trainers available. The Racelight Tk2 takes the winter training frame to a new level. Advanced Kinesium alloy, takes the weight of this frame down to just over 1.4kg for the 54cm size. Both the 'T2' and 'Tk2' have rack mounts and ample clearance for full size 'gaurds and larger winter tyres [long reach, 47/57mm brakes required]. The top tube is 'power bulged' at the headtube for maximum stiffness and the oversize, thin-wall down tube is aero section at the top and ovalised where it meets the BB for maximum weld area and response. The 'anti roadshock' seatstays give maximum comfort for long training rides and the oversize chainstays and large downtube area at the BB keep power loss to a minimum. Black Cherry Metallic/Off White. Steel Grey Metallic/Tech White.

Kinesis Racelight KR810 Frameset 2011: The KR-810 is part of our 'ADP' [Advanced Development Program] and has been developed and refined over 4 race seasons. It is a full monocoque design using super stiff 3k woven carbon. A monocoque frame does not use lugs that add weight and can weaken the frame structure. Monocoque construction ensures maximum stability, maximum reaction to force and maximum rigidity compared to classic glued or taped carbon fibre frames. Care has been taken to tune the characteristics of the carbon lay-up to ensure stiffness, stability and response where it is required and yet provide enough compliance for rider comfort. The frame is not 'over stretched' and the riding position is not too 'nose down' making it ideal for longer distance and sportive events. The 'Tracer', 358g fork has been developed to provide absolute stability in turns and under braking. The KR-810 is the frameset of choice for our race team and we believe that this it offers the ultimate performance and value, race package. Tech White, NEW Diamond Black.

Our GranFondo frameset is an excellent example of this philosophy. Carbon is a wonder material, but alloy tubes can do some things just as well, if not better. Scandium is the ideal material for a frame that needs to be responsive and lively, but retain some compliance to cushion the blows of a long distance ride. We have used Easton 'GX2', Flared, Taperwall tubing, the flared section at the headtube helps to avoid lateral flex and give a really direct steering feel, whilst the tapered butting keeps things light and reliable for years of use. Scandium has the 'spring' of steel but with the light weight of advanced alloy. Carbon plays it's part too, the 'carbon strutt' seat stays and Selcof carbon post take out some road buzz and the carbon fork is tuned and shaped for some vertical compliance whilst keeping that direct handling feel. The GranFondo has plenty of 'race bike feel', it's no slack angled tourer, but the geometry is designed to be forgiving over the distance, with longer [but not too long] headtubes and chainstays. The GranFondo is a versatile frameset too, with mudguard eyelets on frame and fork + rack mounts. It's designed for short [39-49mm] brakes, allowing ample choice of high end componentry. Deep Blue Metallic. Black Cherry Metallic.

It's taken 2 years to develop, in conjunction with Kinesis International and our UK riders. The frame is a full monocoque design, eliminating weak joints and uses super stiff 3k woven carbon. We have paid special attention to the lay-up of the highly stressed areas such as the dropouts, BB area, Head tube and seat tube junction, ensuring class beating lateral stiffness, combined with strength and a superbly smooth ride. The deep section chain stays ensure minimal power wastage and the full carbon dropouts and disc mount mean no alloy insert to fatigue or de-bond. Drawing on our experience of alloy race frames, this new frame is designed around a familiar racing geometry but with refined angles and a longer front centre than our previous XC frames, meaning the frame is ideal for the newer breed of technical singletrack, competition XC courses. At just 1100 grams for the medium size painted and under £1k, this frame is extremely hard to beat.

Kinesis Crosslight Evo4 Frame 2011: We never stop developing our frames and our ultimate 'cross frame strengthens its dominance this season with a competition proven 'Carbon/Kinesium/Easton Hybrid' frame construction and fully re-profiled 'Ergo2' top tube. Add stunning new, tougher, dual colour, paint finishes into the mix, and I think that this year's EVO is pretty close to perfection in a 'cross frame! The 'Hybrid' frame construction optimises frame performance by matching construction material to specific frame area. The lightweight, 'PropulsionCrosstay' carbon wishbone gives class beating tyre clearance, whilst adding lateral stiffness and compliance to the rear triangle. The new, Kinesium 'Ergo2' top tube has been lightened and re-profiled, making it even more comfortable for carrying over longer distances, it is also wider and deeper where it meets the seat tube, helping to resist twisting forces along the front triangle. The down tube and seat tube are 'Easton Ultralite Taperwall', ovalised where it meets the BB and head tube for maximum weld area and stiffness. Cable routing is neatly out of the way for smooth changing and carrying. An oversize drive side chainstay enhances acceleration and helps get the power down when out of the saddle. This 'aStay system' allows us to keep the back end light without compromising response and stiffness. Supergloss Black/Metallic Steel Grey Tech White/Metallic Diamond Black
